Less than 2 weeks ago, Roy Williams came to mind when discussing WR possibilities with a couple people. I predicted that Roy Williams would be a Chicago Bear.
You just knew that Dallas would be letting him go. With Dez Bryant and Miles Austin starting, it was a good time for both parties to part ways, especially with Roy’s starting pay contract.
Plus, he had played for Mike Martz before in Detroit, where he had his best season. He is a good player that will fit perfectly as a bigger target to Cutler, and he already knows the system to plug-and-play as a number one receiver on a playoff team.
I like the move.
