CB Patrick Peterson

Rookie cornerback Patrick Peterson is a star in the making. He was the 5th pick in the draft for a reason, and already is making his presence felt in the NFL. He is assigned to cover the best receiver week in and week out, and is a playmaker as a kick/punt returner as well. He reminds me of a young Kobe Bryant. When Kobe came into the league, everyone knew the kid had game, but he had some things to learn and some calls went against him.Peterson is getting some pass interference calls and holding calls against him, but down the road he will be getting the benefit of the doubt like Asomugha and Revis have earned their stripes. Peterson is all over the field, showing that he is a complete player with potential through the roof. He can make tackles in the run game at the line of scrimmage, and bring down the bigger tight ends. He can shadow the fast receivers and compete on jump balls against the bigger guys. If you didn’t know about him before, just watch this kid grow…
