NFL Week 4 Preview: Prime Time Games

SNF: Patriots @ Falcons

New England is undefeated but really hasn’t played well. Atlanta has been banged up and their record reflects that. The defense of the Patriots has really improved thanks to recent draft picks, and that concerns defending the pass as well as the run. Offensively they need tight end Rob Gronkowski on the field again. The Falcons arguably have the best offense on paper when healthy, this matchup features two of the league’s better teams in that aren’t at their best. As for this Sunday night, New England takes this on the road to 4-0 with a score of 28-24.

MNF: Dolphins @ Saints

Monday Night Football presents the clash of unbeatens. Miami is a surprising 3-0 to most, and have done so with collective efforts by all three units. Coach Joe Philbin is on the same page with sophomore quarterback Ryan Tannehill. They are spreading the ball and mixing it up with rookie running back Lamar Miller. The defense has been there throughout as well as kicker Caleb Sturgis. The Saints may be marching in again with coacvh Sean Payton back for good. Quarterback Drew Brees is still airing it out and defensive coordinator Rob Ryan is confusing offenses. It’s not easy to win in the Big Easy Superdome, Saints prevail 30-20.
