Look no further than Jamaal Charles, he is basically the entire offense for Kansas City and they’re undefeated. Coach Andy Reid is feeding him as many touches as possible, carries and catches.
Knowshon Moreno is flourishing in the role of Edgerrin James, former running back next to Peyton Manning back on the Colts. This guy is healthy and taking advantage by becoming an every down back, and just might be the key to their championship expectations.
Despite only recording one touchdown mid-way through the season, Arian Foster is every bit of good as advertised. He’s touched the ball a ridiculous amount of times the past couple of seasons, but hopefully he can shake off the nagging injuries to dominant once again.
On the cusp:
After suffering from early season fumblitis, Stevan Ridley regained focused to help steer his team in the right direction. Yes, they are loaded with several backs that can do different things, this has been the healthy guy in the backfield just going about his business and thriving.
Chris Johnson deserves some love, someone that has improved on 3rd downs and the passing game. It isn’t always pretty because he tries to bounce outside quite a bit, but he sure is grinding it out to hoist his squad into the playoff picture.
When you really think about it, Buffalo has co-starters in the backfield and one of which is Fred Jackson. He is as relevant as ever because he has the ability to do it all, thing is he might fall from these graces by season’s end as there are other guys on his tail, such as his teammate C.J. Spiller.
