DeAndre Jordan is stealing the headlines. The free agent center just made All-NBA 3rd Team and 1st-All Defensive Team. He may be going back on his verbal agreement with Mark Cuban and the Dallas Mavericks. The word is spreading about him ignoring all communication efforts from the Dallas brass, including forward Chandler Parsons, while meeting with several Clippers’ representatives: Owner Steve Ballmer, GM/Coach Doc Rivers, best friend Blake Griffin, shooting guard J.J. Redick, verbally-committed Paul Pierce, and point guard Chris Paul left his vacation to be there. All signs are pointing to Jordan staying in Lob City.

This has happened many times before, most recently, Frank Gore turning away from Philadelphia for Indianapolis.

The Home Run Derby participants were announced for MLB’s All-Star Weekend, including a pair of players from the Chicago Cubs.

New York Giants defensive end, Jason Pierre-Paul, got his index finger amputated after a fireworks incident. The free agent has refused to sign his franchise tag offer up to this point.
